I painted this with watercolour to illustrate and process a moment where I felt way in over my head. I was accompanying my mom for a surgery in Texas and right as I was about to leave her to do her thing, the doctor said that if any complications happened, I would have to be the one to make the call.
The original name for the shirt was Make The Call.
I like colourfully illustrating moments like these because it helps me put them in perspective. especially if i get funky with my style. The more absurd, the more I can explore, analyze and then distance myself from the situation when I'm ready.
The surgery went well and everything. I was just like :0 wow in the moment
